Survivor’s tale – tackling gender based violence in Namibia

07 / 07 / 19

Konrad and Sibongile are visiting Speak Up project in Windhoek, Namibia. They discover how EU funded Regain Trust is trying to tackle gender based violence on multiple levels. They also visit a shelter for victims of GBV.

Thanks to the actions of Regain Trust, people like Meme Eveline are able to receive counseling in order to find healing and are then able to regain their self-esteem. Turning them form victims to survivors of gender based violence.

Konrad, a filmmaker from Poland and Sibongile, journalist from Namibia are two strong characters who will join forces to tell amazing stories about EU development projects in Namibia in July. Expect a lot of laughter and intensive storytelling.
