Sierra Leone Education: Fighting Unemployment

13 / 03 / 20

Sierra Leone education is a priority for the country, where about 60% of the working age population is unemployed or underemployed.

Esteban and Kirstie visit the Murialdo Institute in Kissy – one of many schools funded through the European Union’s support to the education sector in Sierra Leone.

Here they learn how Murialdo is improving the accessibility and quality of vocational training, and how these training programs are decreasing the unemployment crisis impacting young people throughout the country.
